Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Farouq has announced that over 100 tonnes of federal government’s food palliatives will soon arrive Ogun state.
She also added that the federal government will soon start the documentation of vulnerable and poor people who will benefit from the unconditional N5,000 federal government transfer.
The minister said this on Friday, after a meeting with the Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun, to discuss modalities on how the food items and cash will be distributed.
The Minister said so far the federal relief items has been sent to 22 States.
