Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun on Wednesday promised improved welfare package for the state’s civil servants, saying they have contributed to the growth and development of the state.
The Governor, who stated this during an unscheduled visit to government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), at the Oke-Mosan Secretariat in Abeokuta, commended civil servants for their dedication to duty, charging them not to rest on their oars.
He disclosed if the country must get it right, it must strengthened the civil service.
‘’civil servants are ready to support any government that is ready to work, if we would get it right, the civil service must be well strengthened, ” he added.
The Governor stated that soon, the operations and systems of filing of the MDAs would be digitalised, to complement the hard copy filing system, promising to work on the constant release of bulk payment for the effective running of the ministries, departments and agencies.
The State Head of Service, Mr. Abayomi Sobande assured of maximum cooperation of the entire workforce, in achieving the mission of the present administration to move the State to an enviable height.
