BREAKING: Police confirm release of six Epe school students kidnapped 3 months ago

Police authorities have confirmed reports that the six secondary students of Igbonla Model College, Epe in Lagos who were kidnapped about 65 days ago have been freed.

The students were said to have been freed on Friday at about noon.

Gunmen in military camouflage had allegedly stormed the school and abducted the six students from their hostel.

It could not be confirmed if any ransom was paid for their release as at press time today.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, confirmed their release.
