Censors board approves 74 films in March

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) on Monday said it approved and verified 74 films in March.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs of NFVCB, Mr Caesar Kagho in Lagos.

The statement said that out of the 74 films, 40 were classified ‘15’ while 34 were classified ‘18’.

It said that 23 of the movies were in English, 27 in Yoruba, 19 in Hausa, four in Bini and one in Urhobo languages.

The statement cautioned members of the public that the movies classified ‘15’ contained strong language, violence, and fetish rituals.

“For those classified ‘18’, viewers are hereby cautioned that they contain fetish practice, imitable technique, violence, and strong language,” the statement it added.
