Mapoly management directs students to resume on Monday, Jan 18th

Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in Ogun State has directed all students of the institution to resume for academic activities on Monday, 18th January, 2021.
According to a release signed by the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yemi Ajibola and made available to newsmen, the management urged the students to adhere to all COVID-19 protocols while on campus.
The institution warned that no entry would be granted to anyone into the campus without strict adherence to the preventive measures to curtail the spread of coronavirus.
Full time National Diploma students, in order to further ensure strict observance of proactive and preventive measures upon the looming second wave of COVID-19 pandemic within the Polytechnic, the management would attend lectures between 8:00am and 12 noon.
Similarly, all Higher National Diploma students will have lectures from 1:00pm while all Part-time students National Diploma and Higher National Diploma will receive lectures from 3pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
Ajibola therefore, urged all National Diploma full-time students to vacate the school premises before 1:00pm daily.
He further enjoined all members of staff, students and other stakeholders to take cognizance of the following:
“Regular hand washing, compulsory wearing of nose mask, using of hand sanitizer, maintaining physical/social distancing etc.”
The PRO equally directed members of staff to avoid  inter-office visitations or conversations except for official purposes, as defaulters of any preventive measures would be sanctioned.
“Moreover, Students are advised to complete thier registration and acquaint themselves with the abridged academic calendar for the 2nd Semester, 2019/2020 academic session.
“Furthermore, students are encouraged to join  the online learning platform via lms.mapolyng.com to corroborate and reduce the in-person lectures in compliance with the covid-19 protocol.
