Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has tested positive to COVID-19, although he remains asymptomatic.
Ondo State has witnessed a surge in cases of COVID-19 infections.
The governor confirmed the development himself via his verified Twitter handle this afternoon.
He wrote, “Today I tested positive for #COVID19. All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated.”
